Former Swimmers Have Great College Seasons

I wanted to take the time to send a congrats to some of my former swimmers who had great years in college this year:

Kendra Stern - Amherst

Kendra swam for me in Albuqueque and had a great finish to her collegiate career, setting 2 new national records.  She set new records in the 500 free (4:43.37) and the 200 free (1:44.82).  She lowered her own record in the 200 Free.  She also won the 100 free, just missing her old meet record.  Video of Sterns 500 below (click the rectangle).

Molly Albrecht - Yale

With four second-team selections, sophomore Molly Albrecht netted the highest number of selections of any of the Bulldogs, two coming from individual events and two from relays.  Albrecht placed second in the 500 free with a time of 4:47.14, leading for the first 200 yards and managing to swim faster than her time in the heat.  Albrecht then had a much closer finish in the 200 backstroke, clocking in at 1:56.72.  Only three tenths of a second separated the top three finishers, with Albrecht taking second.

Heather Clark - Kansas

Heather finished off her freshman year with great showing in her 200 back at Big 12 Championships, going a best time of 2:03.37 and placing 22nd. Way to go Heather!
