AAAA Takes Indiana By Storm

The first team travel trip for AAAA was a complete blast!  We got off to a rough start on Wednesday when we could not get our rental van, but we remained ‘optimistic’ and got to Indiana during the early morning on Thursday.

The Donner Swim Club, my home swim team, hosted our athletes during the evenings and fed us after workouts.  What a great experience to train with them and to meet some fantastic people outside of our LSC.  A big thanks to Head Coach Jim Sheridan and his host families for all of their hospitality.  We cannot wait to do it again.  A big thank to my parents as well. Thanks for feeding and housing us in Nashville.

At the Indy Dolphin Invite we swam lights out!  What a great meet for AAAA.  We had lots of best times, new Sectional cuts, new Zone cuts and Divisional cuts.  We were also represented well in the Individual High Point standings with multiple swimmers in the top 10.  Sydney Sirimongkhon-Dyck and Emma Reaney both finished 2nd for high point in their age groups.  Way to go!

On the boys side, we finished 7th of 30 teams with 365 points. On the girls side we finished 2nd with 779 points.  As a team, we were top 5.

I want to send a special thanks out to Cassie, Tracy, and Tricia for chaperoning this trip.  You were a big help.  I cannot wait to do this again soon.
