Read All About It- AAAA Raises $7,500 at Swim-A-Thon

Congratulations Ad Astra Swimmers!

We have surpassed our team goal for the Swim-A-Thon® and went above and beyond the expectations. Our total amount raised was $7,570.10. Thank you to all those swimmers that participated in our Swim-A-Thon®. I would like to recognize the swimmers that helped pace the success of our event.

 The group that raised the most money was the Comets. The Comets raised $2,552.10. WAY TO GO COMETS! The Comets will be rewarded with a Pizza Party on Monday, November 7th.  The Comets will swim for the first 30 minutes of practice and then enjoy pizza for the remainder of practice.

3rd TOP FUNDRAISER= Dinner with the Coaches- STEPHEN JOHNSON

 We had 9 swimmers complete 100 lengths and 38 swimmers complete 200 lengths. These swimmers will be awarded with a pin and certificate at our Swim-A-Thon Awards Ceremony later this month.

 Swimmers that will be awarded their prizes at the Swim-A-Thon Awards Ceremony are:

Week1: Largest Flat Donation- Heather Cistola

Week 2: Most Individual Pledges- Heather Cistola

Week 3: $2 per length Pledge- Stephen Pendry

Week 4: Most Money Raised- Heather Cistola and Carter Stacey

A Big Thank-You goes out to Sherry Rohn for helping with all the calculations and organizing of the Swim-A-Thon®.

Please keep an eye out for emails about the Swim-A-Thon Awards Ceremony. Once we receive the awards and certificates from USA Swimming, we will announce the date of the Ceremony. You won’t want to miss out on seeing Coach Patrick get a pie to his face.
