Another AAAA Swimmer to Trials!

Ad Astra Area Aquatics will have another representative at the 2012 Olympic Trial this summer in Omaha, Nebraska.  This past Saturday evening, Katie Price finished 10th overall in the 200 Breaststroke at the Minnesota Grand Prix Swim Meet in a Trial Qualifying time of 2:35.84.  She shaved off nearly five seconds from her previous best at the start of the day.

She also bested her previous best time in the 100 Breaststroke Friday evening and finished 14th overall with a time of 1:13.48.

Price joins Emma Reaney, Notre Dame, and Molly Albrecht,Yale, as AAAA's third Olympic Trial qualifier.  Reaney and Albrecht will dual represent their collegiate team and AAAA at the Olympic Trials at the end of June.
