The Storms Did Not Stop AAAA at Beach Bash

Beach Bash Recap

The weather didn't put a damper on AAAA's swimming at the 2012 Beach Bash. We had 40 athletes compete in the meet in Topeka and it was a perfect way to kick off the month of June for competing.

This meet was a great training and racing meet. Several of our elite and eclipse athletes used their races to gain experience, work on details, and practice racing in poor weather conditions.

AAAA had the opportunity to participate in relays in almost every age group. This demonstrated how the team has grown and the wide range of ages on our team.  The relays were a blast to watch.

The Beach Bash was full of storms and delay, but that did not stop AAAA from swimming personal bests, qualifying for D1’s and have a fun time. AAAA was well represented at the 2012 Beach Bash and the improvements made during the meet are a promising sign for a great summer season!

GO AAAA!
