AAAA Takes Home Small Team Champion Title in Lincoln

AAAA made a statement in Lincoln at the Capitol City Classic on June 21-24. The 20 swimmers that attended help AAAA take home 1st place for Small Team Division. We finished 4th overall with all teams combined. This achievement is a reflection of the quality swimming that took place in Lincoln. The meet was run as a prelim and finals format, and AAAA took advantage of the opportunity for second swims in finals.

Congrats to Danny Christie as he finished in the Top 3 for High Point in the 11-12 Boys Division.

A special shout out goes to Stephen Johnson for achieving his first ever AAA time standard in his swimming career. He swam an AAA time standard in the 100 Free. (11-12 Boys)

All in all the Lincoln Travel Meet was a complete success- perhaps our most successful travel meet as a team to date. We had a great time racing fast teams, sharing our time together and having some laughs. Don’t miss out on our next one!
