Ad Astra Has Strong Showing at Level 1's & Level 2's
Ad Astra competed two weekends in December at the Midwest Level 1 and Level 2 Championships.
We had 27 swimmers compete at Level 1's in Topeka and 46 swimmers compete at Level 2's in Lawrence.
At Level 1's we finished 3rd behind Kansas City Blazers and Columbia Swim Club. We had one swimmer take home the High Point winner of her age group. Claire Campbell won the High Point Award for the 11-12 girls age group. Claire also achieved four AAAA time standards.

Level 2's
Of the 46 swimmers that competed at Level 2’s, the majority of swimmers went personal best times, qualified for Level 1’s, and placed in the Top 8. One of the greatest aspects of Level 2’s was the team spirit at the meet. The swimmers were always cheering for one another and it was always crowded on the side of the pool with the Ad Astra swimmers.
