To the Stars Meet Recap and Thank You

Thank you to everyone who made the To the Stars meet such a success.  We could not have done it without you!

Thank you, swimmers, for being so awesome! 

We had 60 AAAA athletes at the meet, including 18 young athletes in the 9-U Championship session. AAAA athletes swam to 45 district cuts and 37 championship cuts. Our District qualifying team now sits at 29 athletes and our Championship team sits at 22 athletes for the Age Group and Senior Champs combined. We have 6 individual NCSA Age Group qualifiers and 6 Sectional qualifiers. We had 20 event winners over the course of the weekend and 31 swims that clocked in at an ‘A’ time or better.  We achieved 128 best times as a team. 35 swimmers have now earned their AAAA Towels for swimming in 5+ meet for the SCY season.

Thank you, parents, for being so amazing! You helped us time, run hospitality, keep the deck safe, organize, run the meet computers, and officiate the meet. We cannot run meets without a strong volunteer core stepping up each session. So, thanks for helping us out. 

Throughout this week at the pool, we will hand out new towel winners, stickers for meet participation, awards from the meet and Championship meet qualifier gear.
