Missouri Valley Swimming Wins Central Zones
This past weekend, five members of Ad Astra Area Aquatics traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska to compete against the best swimmers from Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Lake Erie, Midwestern, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ozark, and South Dakota at the Central Zones Championships. Claire Campbell, Cierra Campbell, Canaan Campbell, Valentina Rivera and Gretchen Frick were all part of the winning team.
Claire Campbell had finishes of 6th (50 Freestyle), 6th (100 Freestyle), 7th (200 Freestyle), 10th (50 Backstroke), 6th (100 Backstroke) and 9th (50 Butterfly).
Cierra Campbell had finishes of 22nd (50 Freestyle), 16th (100 Freesyle), 9th (200 Freestyle) and 8th (400 Freestyle).
Valentina Rivera was 20th (50 backstroke)
Gretchen Frick finished 29th (200 Freestyle)
Canaan Campbell had finishes of 15th (200 Freestyle), 8th (400 Freestyle), 18th (100 Backstroke), 14th (200 Backstroke), 3rd (200 Butterfly) and 7th (400 IM).
Congrats to Missouri Valley who took first overall as a team and congrats to these five members of AAAA. Way to go!
