CSC Invite A Huge Success
Wow! -- What else is there to say!
We had some fantastic performances this past weekend and swam very well in Columbia. From top to bottom, it was a huge success as a team. Please check out the results below, as we finished in the top 10 for team scores combined.
Lessons Learned --
We have more time to put in before the end of the season -- so let's keep pushing on. The holidays can get busy, but it is important to be at practice as much as you can. Whether you achieved what you wanted from the meet this weekend (or a previous early-season meet) or not, it is not time to be content. Stay hungry for improvement, set new goals and make the second half of this season even better than the front half.
Let's concentrate on the process and not the result. Many good swims happen from concentrating on the details of the race. Saying you want to go a certain time, but failing to execute certain details in your race can often lead to poor results. Practice makes perfect -- details in your races come from what you do in practice -- hold true to those details in your races and good things can happen!
