One Amazing Weekend

The Division 1 Championship meet was quite possibly the most successful meet AAAA has ever had. I am so proud of this team and the great families on AAAA.
In the Medium team division, we placed first overall. Among all teams, we placed 4th behind Tsunami (3rd), Columbia Swim Club (2nd) and The Kansas City Blazers(1st). All of these teams are significantly larger than ours with 200+ swimmers. There are some 64 registered teams in our LSC! What a great job.
We had a number of new Zone times, winning relays, top 8 finishes and great swims! A special congrats to Cierra Campbell who was high point winner in the 13-14 age group. Way to go! I will post the complete results as soon as I have them.
How was this all possible? We kept it fun -- we kept it focused -- we kept it positive -- and we had a blast! This meet serves as a huge launching point into our Short Course season. I am excited to get started.
Please be on the lookout for early season activities. Our official start date and team tryout will be August 29th. Pre-season activities will be sent to Eclipse, Senior and Elite soon. Remember that Eclipse, Senior and Elite are working out this week from 7-8:30am at Robinson Natatorium KU.
We have one more meet to go in Zones. Please plan on going to cheer on Emily Venters, Claire Campbell, Cierra Campbell, Sydney Sirimongkhon-Dyck and Danny Christie this weekend. They are sure to represent our LSC and our team well.
