Emma Breaks School Record at Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Notre Dame women's swimmer Emma Reaney got the OSU Invitational off to a bang on Friday morning as the freshman shattered the school record in the 200 individual medley, lowering the mark to 1:58.47.

The NCAA B-cut time broke the previous mark held by former Irish great Katie Carroll, who went 2:00.09 on March 8, 2007 at the NCAA Championships.

The time also qualified Reaney first in the event, over two seconds faster than her closest competitor.
