Recap of October Meets

The Ad Astra swimmers were busy competing during the month of October.

We attended the Blue Wave Invitational and the Spooktacular Meet hosted by COOL.

Congratulations to Stephen Johnson and David Christie as they won high point for their age group at the Blue Wave Invitational. These two boys finished first in the majority of their races with best times. They represented Ad Astra in the High Point Race.

In both meets, we also had several other swimmers finish with best times and finishes in the Top 8. As coaches it is positive to watch such great racing at the beginning of the season. With an 8 month long season, being motivated to race in the first month is a great reflection of how the season will play out.
