Ad Astra Shines at Summer Sectionals Our group of nine swimmers swam to one the all-time Ad Astra team performances at the Speedo Summer Sectionals - Central Zone South in Columbia, MO this past week. We traveled to Iowa for the second consecutive year for our summer travel trip. Quad A Finishes 2nd as a Team at Little Apple Invite Out of 13 teams, AAAA finished 2nd ��as a team! The girls finished 1st �� in the team standings by over 1000 points! 32 swimmers scored points for Quad A. We are so proud of the team effort. Our squad was filled with new, young, and experienced. Ad Astra kicked off summer long course with a fantastic showing in Topeka this past weekend. Over 40 swimmers competing and all swimming a best time over the course of the meet. Whoa! Ad Astra finished 1st in the Medium Team Division and 2nd overall! A total team effort for points scored. The only team in front of us had double the participation in swimmers at the meet. Sectional Recap Our six swimmers had a blast racing at the Region VIII Sectional meet this past week. Berklee Adams, Banks Anderson, Ella Marsh, Mateo Sherwood, Colborn Trout and Joshua Victoriano finished 19th out of 46 combined scoring teams, 17th out of 39 Men’s Scoring Teams and 18th out of 35 Women’s Scoring Teams. #smallbutmighty.
