We survived the storms and delays at the Club North Summer Invite this past weekend. Thanks to everyone for their understanding as we navigated some pesky weather on Sunday. What a great meet to end our regular season before Championship meets. Swimming outside always offers up some new challenges and different circumstances (sunny backstroke races, headwinds and chilly moments between races). Waukee was a hit! Our annual team travel trip was at a brand-new pool in Iowa this summer. Team dinner, team bonding and fast swimming sums up our awesome trip! We had 139 best times from 29 attending swimmers! Great job to our Beach Bash Crew of 22! We swam primarily with our 12-Unders at this meet, and they did a great job representing AAAA! We had 1 new Championship Qualifier: Annie Norman (Districts in the 10-U 100 Fly). We had 58 new personal best times, 29 swims placing in the top 3 and 15 event winners. 4 swimmers are already at 4 meets attended for the season. Quad A kicked off our Long Course 2025 Summer Season in Topeka this weekend. We had swimmers ages 7 to age 18 competing on our team. 46 total Ad Astra swimmers raced over the course of the three-day meet - meaning 46 earned 1pt towards their AAAA Team Kickboard.
