Come join the Lawrence Parks and Rec Water Polo Club! What is Water Polo? It is an Olympic sport played in water with a ball, two goals, and two teams consisting of seven players. It is a combination of soccer and basketball in the water. Water polo provides an opportunity for building teamwork, individual skills, and sportsmanship. I wanted to take the time to send a congrats to some of my former swimmers who had great years in college this year:   Kendra Stern - Amherst Kendra swam for me in Albuqueque and had a great finish to her collegiate career, setting 2 new national records.  She set new records in the 500 free (4:43.37) and the 200 free (1:44.82).  She lowered her own record in the 200 Free.  She also won the 100 free, just missing her old meet record.  Video of Sterns 500 below (click...
