Congrats to Lucy Sirimongkhon-Dyck on her commitment to swim at the University of Nebraska Omaha!  We look forward to seeing great things from her at the next level after she graduates this spring.  The AAAA family is so proud of you.

What a great turnout for our make-up Trunk or Treat on Wednesday! We had 61 swimmers participate with several competing in their first sanctioned meet. This is a huge step in our program. Meet participation is important to our team and our coaches. Watching the swimmers race is helpful for us as we can now spend time on the details of what we saw when they swam.   You could feel the Quad A presence on the pool deck on Wednesday! Thank you parents that timed during the meet....

The Jim Divine Invitational is always a good measuring stick for where we are with our early season training, technique and endurance.  In a long season, it is never too late to keep making adjustments and keep looking forward to more fast swims in the future.  With December and January we start to look towards our mid-season Championship meets.  Over the next few weeks, we will be gearing up for these meets – we hope that your swimmers can be at the pool every day to really focus in on...

Congrats to Katie for being awarded the job of Head Coach for the 2014 Missouri Valley All-Star team.  She will lead over 75 swimmers from our LSC against some of the best swimmers from around the region.  We are very fortunate to have such a widely recognized quality coach leading our Age Group program here at AAAA.   Join me in telling her great job when you see her at the pool.  This is a great privilege and honor.   Patrick

This Thursday November 14th there is a special moment for one of our swimmers- Canaan Campbell.   At 2:30PM Canaan will be signing his National Letter of Intent with Missouri State University. His signing will take place in the Free State High School Library.   If you aren’t busy- We would love to see you all there to support AAAA Swimmer Canaan Campbell.

This past weekend we had great racing in Independence. It was a great warm-up meet for our upcoming meet in Columbia. We had 30 plus swimmers compete. We had the fastest 9-10 Boy, 9-10 Girl, and 11-12 Boy at the meet. JT Amrein and Payton Krug won all of their events that they competed in this weekend. Josh Florence won over 90% of his races while achieving AAA Times standards.   The purpose of the meet was served by racing, learning more about our stroke technique, and competing in several...

Ad Astra Shines in the Little Apple   We had a great turnout for our first meet of the season in Manhattan. With 40 athletes Ad Astra came to race. We were the second largest team behind the host team- Manhattan Marlins. During the meet, each heat was filled with Ad Astra silver caps taking first and second and third. The events were run fastest to slowest and Ad Astra won more than half of all the events offered.   This was the first travel meet for some of...

What a great way to kick our season off!  Our athletes that competed at the First Annual Senior Circuit meet raced hard against quality competition.  The meet featured 5 of the areas fastest teams, some quick races and a favorable format that everyone enjoyed.   I want to give a special thanks to all of the AAAA family members who helped out at the meet.  I heard nothing but great things all weekend.  We ran a quality meet and it showed.   Here are the meet results.  A few of...
