A special congrats to Marian Frick for landing in the top 20 in the country in her age group for her 50 breaststroke swim at LSC Championships. She is currently 15th. Other swims that were also very close to the top 20 after this past weekend and deserve honorable mentions are: Ainsley Krug – 29th 200 BK Also, at Sectionals, Canaan Campbell achieved his Winter Junior Cuts in the 200 Back and 200 Fly. We had another great showing from our team this weekend at the LSC Championships both in the water and as co-hosts of the meet. Thanks to everyone for making this meet such a success! Our team finished 3rd in the large team group and 3rd overall for the meet. Individual high point winners included Ainsley Krug (3rd) and Evan Eskilson (3rd). Districts was awesome this year. What a beautiful weekend for swimming. We had 3 new LSC Championship qualifiers and even more event winners at this meet. Our squad of 32 swimmers put on an awesome display of swimming and poured their hearts out during the three-day event. We took first place in the Medium Team Division and fourth overall. This is an especially impressive accomplishment for us this year as the majority of our Sectional level athletes did not participate in a full slate if events or at all at this meet. Way to go AAAA!
